Introduction and Background: The purpose of this thesis is to identify the main key ideas of Socrates concern with the betterment of the Soul. Highlighting the word ‘Psyche’ as the soul which is immortal or imperishable. Defining Soul as the main identity of a person, it is what defines a person, his acts, and his mindset. It is the life which has no reason at all. If we don’t question our souls, we would be just considered as bodies eating, sleeping, creating it all over again. But at some point we do ask our self that ‘Who are we?’ and ‘What are we worth’ To Socrates, the thought of not considering these questions was very disturbing since they didn't even think of these, and he called such people sleepwalker, because what is the point of living a life just for the sake of breathing? These questions make a whole lot of sense than a life that has no meaning at all, these questions may not give you the best or the most appealing answers, but they will provide you the answers and leave it up to you to raise betterment in them. Souls are not polished when they are newly created, they go through events that create them the way they are meant to be. It’s all up to you. Though it’s hard to objectify when it comes to examination of souls, because of its importance and purity in life, when you examine yourself, you simply know what you want or more derivatively, who you are. Socrates, as we know, has evergreen perspective about the purity of soul, and gave us the key to success in the form of words and actions. As a follower, in my opinion, I do agree with them for the betterment of soul, it showers numerous ways to be successful, happy, and stay satisfied with life. For a body that dies, its soul remains alive. Our life depicts a philosophy of happiness, love, and self-belief. Our soul should be like a window to others and it should spread happy indigo in all directions, emerging from one soul and penetrating within someone else's soul while creating a whirling of happiness.
