Smokey Bones strategic priorities for the company include four main areas all equally important for the company and without the other would not work. The first priority is “Bones buzz” which refers to marketing and promoting the brand across all channels of information to increase appeal, raise awareness, and entice new customer trial. While Smokey Bones does not currently have television advertisements, they are responsible for mailing advertisements and coupons as their primary form of marketing. The second priority for the company is service excellence. The company’s aim is to raise the bar on service and hospitality through quality training, execution, communication, and accountability.
