Because the Sioux tribe were located on the plains instead of near the water, the Sioux became extremely good plain hunters. They were consistently on the move, following bison, since bison were their main food source. To catch the bison, they would wear wolf hides to get as close as they can to the bison. Then, they shoot the bison with a bow and arrow. The Sioux made paintings that always represented something. The paintings meant a lot to the Sioux people. They would paint often on the side of their family's tipi. The Sioux lived in tepees. The tepees were long sticks covered in bison hides. The interior was kept somewhat organized.
