Every day majority are influenced. Majority are influenced by trends, friends, and fiends. The things that all are surrounded by daily can take a toll on our physical and mental activity. Most can see that society plays a role in the way we think and react in each era. This is shown in relation to today and during Shakespeare’s time. In Shakespeare's Macbeth characters noticed problems but did not say or do anything. They ignored the issue and felt by doing that the situation will just fade away. From the 20th to the 21st century, these generations have created a sensitive society to mental health. Many are now aware, but this information has been received as a sensitive topic. Now were afraid to say something instead of facing it and coping with reality. By hiding it can take toll on our minds and we start to lose our selves.

While she was sleep walking, she was writing and chanting what was on her mind. The gentle women never revealed what Lady Macbeth said, but most can assume that it was about Duncan’s murder. Lady Macbeth had a combination of PTSD's she had the subcategories which are Acute Disorder, and Adjustment Disorder (Roberts, 34). She had different symptoms for different disorders that all tie in with PTSD. In the 17th century these disorders, symptoms or illnesses didn’t have a name assigned to the issue.
