For instance, one vote made Hitler the ruler of the Nazis party, which led to a devastating event. One vote made English America's language, instead of German. One vote gave Rutherford B. Hayes the presidency of the United States. When people say that their vote doesn't matter, it really does, just by these examples.
On an online source, 76% of the people said that it should be raised to 21. The other 24% says it shouldn't be raised, but it should stay the same. The first guy says that 18-year-olds are just getting out of high school and aren't thinking about voting for the right party or are just too lazy to vote. On the opposite side, a person said that is should be lowered to sixteen. He says that because if they are mature enough to drive than they are mature enough to vote, but he also says that it doesn't apply to all.
I believe that the voting age should be raised to 21. The reason being is future generations have gotten less mature than past generations; we don't care what is happening to us.
