Homework Should Be Banned “A Stanford researcher has found that students in high- achieving communities who spend too much time on homework experience more stress, physical health problems, a lack of balance and alienation from society” (Levy). Homework is thought to help improve test scores, but it actually lowers it. It also gives students health problems and increase stress. High school students should not receive homework because they have too many activities after school, it doesn’t improve test scores, and students receive extra anxiety and stress. In conclusion homework should not be given because after school activities take up a lot of time, test scores doesn’t improve, and anxiety and stress increase. Too much time is taken up because of homework and there isn’t enough for after school activities. Homework does not help and improve test score. Homework can also increase anxiety and stress.
