Therefore, they designed a system that allowed changes to be made to the Constitution and these changes are called Amendments. They created the system in such a way that while changes are possible they are not easy to do. They made it to where the issue had be such a big deal that a large majority the states had to approve it and all three branches have to proofread and revise it twice before it could begin to be passed as a law. The process takes a long time and a lot of dedication, this way only the most important things would be worth it and the Constitution could live on forever.
