TITLE: Bouncing Balls
BACKGROUND RESEARCH: Physics: is the main part of science involved with the character and properties of matter and energy. Matter of physics includes: mechanics, heat, light-weight and alternative radiation, sound, electricity, magnetism, and also the structure of atoms.
Physics has many things that help us or things we use and we don't realise they include physics some of them are: Airbags in Cars, Bullets from Guns and Ultrasounds and X-rays.
This experiment is an example of Newton’s Third Law of Motion: Action/Reaction.
The experiment I will be conducting is which type of …show more content…
The experiment tested the hypothesis but it was wrong and the soccer ball bounced the highest. It could have been improved if the PSI of each ball was the same.
RELIABILITY
Yes, I completed 3 trials for each one.
How well did the results for each trial compare to all trials for the specific independent variable.
An error was that my handball hit a crack and flung into a different direction. I moved to a different area so it didn't happen again.
ACCURACY
I did use the appropriate tool to measure my results I used a tape measure which is very accurate.
An error that was made with measuring because of the Equipment was that the ball are round which made it hard to find something flat to measure, if it was flat it would be even more accurate.
CONCLUSION:
My hypothesis was wrong because out of the three balls tested the soccer ball bounced the highest. My results were very surprising as i found that the Soccer bounced the highest and the basketball bounced the lowest. Im my mind i always thought that basketball would bounce the lowest and I was right but I was wrong about the handball as it came
