Disney’s most important strength is its brand recognition – whether it is in TV, Movie, Resort and Cruise Line Arenas, Entertainment. Disney is a household product. It is hard to find someone that does not know something about the Disney brand in any form of medium available. For Disney to quantify this strength as an asset, Disney created a heading called “Goodwill” that is estimated at $24 million in the brand advancement of its logo alone (David, 2013). In addition to the brand management of the company, the company has diversified 60% of the core foundation in Studio Entertainment and Media Networks (David, 2013). Between 2008 and 2010, the diversification generated aggregate revenues in total nearing $70 billion (David, 2013).
