Most commonly used within a business plan where an organization is able to effectively understand their competition and their position within the market, as a whole. SWOT analyses traditionally evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of an organization, as well as the threats and available opportunities for a business. Organizations that complete SWOT analyses regularly, as opposed to just during the initial phases of creating a business plan or model, are better prepared to identify opportunities that evolve over time and to remain more competitive compared with organizations without this continual analysis. SWOT analyses are critical in allowing a business to constantly find ways to outpace their competitors. They can perform a SWOT analysis on their own business, as well as the businesses of their competitors. First, I’ve grown up and gained academic and professional experience in a time where cultural diversity is not only expected, it has become commonplace. As a millennial, I want to see diverse workplaces where people of different genders and cultural backgrounds have been allowed to thrive, earn promotions and gain valuable opportunities and respect. Companies filled with employees that have the same values and cultural backgrounds are not the most innovative. It is a unique strength of my generation to fully understand the value of cultural diversity and select organizations to work for that support these
