In the essay Lopez talkes about nature and humanity assuming the same fate as each other eventualy. For instance let’s just say that the theory of the Yellow Stone National Park’s giant volcano underneath it is true. Then the erruption of that volcano will be so large that it will rupter the earth creating devestating earthquakes, poisoning the oceans, and covering the sky with ash for many months not allowing plants to grow therefore people will die. He is extreamly well minded when it comes to animals and nature and tries to almost pursuade us to think and do the same. Because nommatter where you come from or how you were raised nature always have played a major role in your upbringing and backround. This essay in my opinion was a very articulated and information piece of writing. I enjoyed this essay and its phylosophies. Barry Lopez really did well on this piec of writing and i do truly beleve it is art. My reaction to the part of the essay where Lopez explains that human and nature fate is the same thing was amazment. Honestly it blew my mind, it all makes sence! If you look at it we really do decide natures fate on our actions! For example pollution, our action of polluting is killing the earth. And without the earth we are dead too. Wich proves his theory.
