First thing on my list is to get out of the debt that accumulates over time due to interest rates. This debt is not as bad as others, but it is something on my back I would like to remove. As I watched the documentary” poor kids” and saw how families were accumulating debt day by day, I realized that I don't want to be in any of those situations. There was a seen in the video where one of the little girls was saying how she had taken a really cold shower. In the book “$2 a day” it seems like no one had saved any money at all, they had no money to fall back on in case such situations came up. There was one woman who lost her job due to no being able to get to work. If she had saved some money she would have had the money to put gas in the vehicle she was using to get to work next day. Even though she was a good worker; the fact that she was not able to get to work the next day outweighed everything she did and accomplished at work and ultimately got fired. Saving money is a very important financial move for everyone. Saving money is a good back up plan and a good future plan at the same time. The more you save the more you have to depend on it if the time comes when you need it, as well as have it for future plans. Sometimes it hard to save money when your life style demands most or all of your income to survive, but if that's the case than I feel it's probably time for some life style changes or try to find other ways to bring in more
