I break down what generally happened during my time dieting was I went strong the first three days but then I caved in and beyond that it was history. During my diet the day I caved in and ate out the rest of the behavioral change started to fall apart. I told myself that I ruined my diet and there was no point to continue on. This thought process that I experienced in turn not only failed my diet but also made me gain more weight that I originally was. I had this idea that if I get knocked down there is no recovering from that. After that day that I caved in, I went out to eat almost every day completely disregarding my diet plan. Lastly, I may have to invest into getting a calorie tracker app on my phone. By constantly monitoring how much I eat in a day I could keep a close eye on whether or not I’m over eating or not.
