In doing this, academics must involve assessments so analysis of a student’s achievement scores in content area can take place. The assessment analysis can be seen through the differing raw scores that represent the amount of learning and understanding for each individual student. My hope is that students see assessments as opportunities not misfortunes. For example, students should see the results of an examination as an advantage of improvement. I believe that this feedback will encourage students to look further into the quantity of work they spend preparing for the assessment, and in turn this investigation will increase and modify their educational goals and academic …show more content…
With the complex and changing education environment, assessment is necessary in shaping well-rounded individuals. Formative assessments are very beneficial when checking on student learning, and emphasizing peer involvement and socialization. Assessments should be developed from the content, be created to emphasize growth through problem solving, both individually and with groups. Regarding teacher-student assessment relationships, clear communication is essential when voicing the objectives and goals of both the assessor and assesse. All in all, assessments are a valid way of measuring student learning, and providing feedback for both students and teachers, which is absolutely necessary in the education
