Right from our birth to our death all our rituals, ceremonies and the ‘Cascaras’ have been based on the teaching we have received from the ancient tomes. These incorporate knowledge, education as well as enlightenment and entertainment in a judicious manner. They highlight the value of knowledge and education using the legendary figures and symbols in order to distinguish between what is good and what are evil and the various aspects of human life. The moral of this story is that those who take the vow of holding Satyanarayan Katha should do that at the earliest if they want to enjoy perennially the Lord’s grace. In my opinion, what I have learned in this literature is to determine the good and evil side in human life. God revealed IT in the beginning of the creation for the moral, spiritual and physical guidance and uplift of humanity. The Vedas contain eternal truths and throw light on the various aspects of life to make a man perfect and ideal. It shows GOD is infinite and soul is finite. The infinite soul cannot contain the infinite knowledge of GOD. God creates, sustains and dissolves the world. Whenever the world is created GOD reveals the Vedas. The process will continue forever. There are four types of Vedas which is ‘RIG VEDA, YAJUR VEDA, SAMA VEDA AND ATHARVA VEDA. The teachings of the Veda are universal. Yajur Veda clearly indicates all educated persons should preach the Vedic truth to all, the Brahmanas, Kshtrias, Vaisyas and Sudras. In the eyes of GOD all men are equally entitled to GOD’S gifts and nature like air, water, sunshine and HIS KNOWLEDGE. In the Vedic truth no one is great or small it means ALL are equal. The Vedic verses refer us to the glory of GOD in HIS creation and ask us to establish a personal link with HIM in the innermost core of our hearts, where we can feel HIS throb, hear HIS voice and see HIS vision. Thus the Veda is a symbol of Divine Happiness. In my opinion from what I’ve study in ‘The Holy Vedas’’ is basically the benefits of all humanity.
