Society needs education to meets the demands for the new fad that may be sweeping the country, but that should not take away from the fact that students need to learn how to be good and moral citizens. When you help develop a student 's moral standard you also help them become more social because it causes them to interact with other students. The ways schools teach should not vary because of a social status, or an economic situation. All students should be treated with the same regard as every other student. While preparing students to become better citizens, they should not step away from the fact that the core studies of education will help propel students into future educational endeavors. Higher education leads to higher paying jobs, more opportunities in the military and work force, and also maybe a better chance at more wealth and fortune (What is the Purpose of American Schools).
