King David the writer of Psalm the 23rd chapter was pick by Jehovah God to lead his people, the Israelites. King David had seen Jehovah work on his behalf in his life many times. His conquering of Goliath, his many battles won against nations opposed to God’s people, and his guidance in helping David rule his people. King David had full faith in Jehovah.
