The Great Awakening occurred during the early 1800th century. Jonathan Edwards, a minister led this event to happen.
Jonathan mentioned if people don’t attend church they will go to hell. Many families believed his word and caused them to attend mass frequently. All of the families had to have a one on one relationship with God.

Determine the strengths and weaknesses of the Articles of Confederation The Articles of Confederation caused problems. This can be seen through the strengths and weaknesses. Therefore it changed how people lived their life The Articles of Confederation was adopted in 1777 and drafted by John Dickinson. This was the first written agreement in the U.S. that was affective for 12 years. Some strength that the article of confederation caused was that congress had the power to make peace and sign treaties. So it would limit wars, and arguments. It helped cooperation between different states. Therefore there was a lot of communication within states. Which meant that if there was ever a conflict then they could resolve it without war, or severe consequences. The Articles of Confederation had many strength, but as did weaknesses. A weakness was that Congress had no type of income, because each state had their own currency. Congress wasn’t able to impose taxes; they were only allowed to borrow money. Their only revenue would only come from different sates. The article granted limited powers to the central government. The Articles of Confederation put the U.S. in a financial crisis.
