A study performed by the University of California found that over ninety-five percent of women, who were unable to receive abortions “stayed in abusive relationships, were below the poverty line on the economy scale, and developed significant psychological disorders,” as compared to those who did have an abortion (ProCon). Some were said to “get out of bad relationships, have better careers and were more ready to have a child on their own terms”
