Freire writes, "Through [c]ommunication ….a new term emerges: teacher-student with students-teachers. The teacher is no longer merely the-one-who-teaches, but one who is himself taught in dialogue with the students, who in turn while being taught also teach. They become jointly responsible for a process in which all grow"(66). In this (English 1302) is a great representation of communication. We (students) engage in dialogue and learn from each other’s’ interpretations of the reading material that is given to us. In Nobel Lecture, Toni Morrison explains, the bird represents language and she goes further into detail that we (culture) hold the fate of language in our hands and it is up to us if it lives or dies. We must learn to keep language alive
