If I was a prisoner, I do not think for a second that if I was subjected to the type of treatment that I wouldn’t be able to handle it. All the high levels of abuse, dehumanization, and overall time distorting experience would probably break me down and affect me mentally for the rest of my life. Yet in spite of all this, I would follow all the orders given to me, unlike the prisoners who fought back. I wouldn’t want additional punishments for not cooperating, a jail is already bad enough as it is.
