What is truth? A lot of people think they know what truth is, but in reality truth may mean something completely different than what you think it means. According to the Webster Dictionary truth is, “The body of real things, events, and facts.” Now you may be thinking, “Well that’s what I thought it was.” But truth is a lot more complex than that. There is truth in everything. There is even truth, and Post truth in Agriculture. Truth is actually a really important concept. Knowing what is right and what is wrong in life or your career or even other people’s careers is really important.

I mentioned post truth awhile back and you probably don’t or didn’t know what it was. To be honest when I first heard the word I had no clue what it was. My guess was probably as good as yours. As I got into it I found out the real meaning and how post-truth affected our everyday life. According to Wiktionary Post-Truth is, “The fact or state of being post-truth; a time period or situation in which facts have become less important than emotional persuasion.” So in other words “Going with your gut”, listen to your emotions and how you think, do not listen to the facts. Post truth just seems crazy to me. It does not make sense to not listen to the facts but to listen to what you think is right as it probably is not.
Truthiness in Agriculture.
Truthiness, “The quality of seeming or being felt to be true, even if not necessarily true.” (Wiki) So truthiness is pretty much post truth and was the word for 2016. There is actually not much truthiness in Agriculture but enough. You go by a system a lot and don’t really
