Mental health issues are a real and growing problem in modern society whether the issue is anxiety or a form of post-traumatic stress disorder, it is so important to recognize that there is a need for help. The book didn't mention (or I didn't catch it) the idea that a person's symptoms of PTSD can affect those around them, especially family. I think this is a really great topic that you brought up because I am sure that your family was not the only ones that have had the experience of combat PTSD symptoms causing fear or stress.
