Piaget studied the way individuals acquired knowledge, he proposed that this process occurs according to four stage of intellectual development of children that are identifiable: One would be the sensory Motor, second Pre-Operational, third Concrete operational, and finally the formal operational,(Nakagki,2011). The differences between the two theories is that Piaget emphasized on the individual development according to stages, and Vygotsky on the use of language as a tool of interaction with the social context of the child.
