The first aspect is “an activity involving physical exertion…”. Physical exertion simply means to do physical activity such as running and lifting weights. Marchers across the globe run step by step on an exact tempo to get from point a to point b. In my experienced opinion, running at a set speed, and not whatever you can go right now, changing constantly, makes it more difficult because you can't slow down if you need too. These high school (and above) students are also carrying heavy objects such as a 5 pound rifle, if they are so lucky as to get a light one, a 6-12 pound trumpet, or even a 5-15 pound saxophone. They have to hold these up high while running all across the football field. A mother of one band kid asked the coach to have the boy leave the field in which the coach replies “it's just the band” implying his belief that nobody cares about the band, showing his disrespect for these hard
