In the 2016 Rio Olympics many routines in the rhythmic gymnastics category had many dance elements such as: Anastasia Blinzyuk’s routine, Marina Durunda’s routine, and Veronica Bertolini’s routine. Dance combines all the strength, stamina and focus of gymnastics/synchronized swimming and diving. Including elements of dance too, making dance even harder to master than some other sports.
Third, during my research for this essay I found out that many people believe that you dance from memory, not skill. You do memorize a dance number but you also need to have skill to be able to do the moves and steps you memorize for the dance number. To be able to do 37 pirouettes in a row takes talent and skill, not memorization. Also, people are saying that dance does not take any physical strength. Dance requires a lot of sweat and determination. Dance improves your stamina and strength just as much as any other sport (like football or skiing) does.
So just like I have been saying, dance is just like any other sport and I have even proven it to you. You can do any research you want, but you’ll just come out with the same outcome I did: dance is a sport. After reading my essay I have one question for you. Now is dance a
