Once a child becomes overweight they are twice as likely to get diabetes. The symptoms are a little hard to notices but they will stand out sooner or later. But it also takes an emotional toll on children. Obese children are more than likely to have low self-esteem. Kids see the word “fat” and think of it negatively. Other children are more likely to point out a heavier kid in class and make fun. In some cases cause them to alienate themselves to avoid being picked on. Few cases show that some overweight children over eat from emotional trauma. Kids are a lot more honest than adults and a bit more brutal with the delivery.
