Thinking back on elementary school I can recall learning new things had been simple, almost effortless for me. I went to a catholic school that was kindergarten through eighth grade, and the classes were all pretty small. I glided through all the grades from kindergarten all the way up through fourth grade with no difficulty. That year following fourth grade though, was the by far the hardest year I’ve had to get through in my 16 years of life. Everything changed for me and my family and my life went from fairly easy, to dealing with the many new obstacles and challenges I was going to soon face.
The summer going into my fifth grade I turned 10, which a big deal for most kids. That year definitely was a huge milestone in my life,
