A guy asked “Are you sure you really want to do this?” He continued talking and said our shuttle is positioned straight up so we should adjust into that position also. The simulator started moving so we sat at a 90 degree angle like our rocket. He then explained that with six seconds remaining our main engines would ignite, starting from ten the countdown “Ten.. nine.. eight.. seven.. six..” The engine started and we shook like a washing machine, it kept us hitting our heads on the back of the seat. The countdown continued “five.. four.. three.. two.. one.” Then we took off, and the force of gravity left us pinned and immobile in our seats. We continued to fly into space, a few moments later he told us that we had to drop our main engine compartment. After that went through with success, he said, “If something happened to go wrong, you wouldn’t have enough fuel to return to the Kennedy Space Center.
