I still spent scads of time on Geometry, but the puzzle pieces started to fit together. Homework slowly became easier. I could understand it better. I often looked at example problems that I found online which helped me understand the lesson. Spending time figuring out a complex problem on my own and fitting the pieces together helped me remember them better. I ,sadly, still had nights where Geometry consumed my whole night, which was not going to help me raise my other grades. I made sure to prioritize better. I would complete my assignments for my other classes first ,and then work on my Geometry. This allowed me to put effort into these classes as well as Geometry. I also would not allow myself to stay up past ten. If I wasn’t getting it, I would come into to school a bit early. Staying up half the night wasn’t going to help me improve my performance in class. I would study for test and quizzes in advance. As soon as I found out about the assessment I would study. While I studied every night I only studied for 20 minutes, which actually helped me remember the lessons better. By the end of the first semester I had brought my grade up to an 86% and I had brought my grades in my other classes up to A’s. I brought my GPA all the way up to a 4.07. I finally had a handle on my
