The artist who did my tattoo was an amazing guy and he told me a piece of his story while working on me. He told me about how he became a tattoo artist and how he was an ex-con. He’d been released from prison and was trying to establish his life which, made me respect him more as a person because of how he didn’t let it define him. He did a clean job on my tattoo and it’s an honor to have his work on my body.
Since getting my tattoo, more meanings have been incorporated. I have learned a great deal about the verse and, it’s one of God’s promises for a better life when this one comes to an end. I have learned to accept myself and everything that makes me who I am as a person. To accept what happens in life and to make the best out of what you can.
