I lashed out with my left foot but my skepticism caused me to hesitate at the last moment and the board stood strong against my assault. Once again I felt the familiar feeling of failure start to creep into my whole body. I could feel my sweat creeping and crawling its way into my eyes where they mixed with the small tears that were materializing in the corner of my eyes.
