I rush out of the gym into my mom's car, she is blasting the heat "holy crap turn on the AC" I say. I just had a full basketball practice and I was heading to yet another basketball practice, knees aching legs weak, and it was 80 degrees in my moms car. " Lets go mom i'm going to be late!!" we roll up into San Dominico the unbearable stretch of speed bumps, and with San Dominico being desolate my mom still obeys the speed limit of 5 miles an hour. My brother was also was playing basketball also, on top of that my washing machine was broken. Every thursday I to get all my homework done by five and then i would have dinner go to basketball, go to basketball, pick up my brother from basketball, and the do laundry. The laundromat was not the most hygienic place lots of hair and dust. It was usually not very busy but sometimes some shady characters would stop in. It was very bright like a bright lights in a sports arena it lit up the sidewalk outside with its enormous windows. There was so many washers and dryers in an interesting layout. It was a depressing placed every time I went there I had a feeling of being unsafe. The floor was these atrocious white tiles with specks of green it was like a square plate with green beans. They had tables in there that looked like a wrinkly old man's skin.So every night I was getting home at 9:45 to 10. My mom was doing all this commute and laundry so she was also out for as long as me and my brother. One night she said " I feel like a homeless person living in my car going to the laundromat all the tim!!" She also had to make dinner for the family and we were all eating at different times.
