Describing what seems to be a bad situation for Perri, who struggles to make a bad situation more bearable, she finally reaches her limit and admits in the chorus, “But I’m only human/And I bleed when I fall down/I’m only human/And I crash and I break down.” Even though she has made a deal with herself to do what is needed, she clarifies that she is not perfect and she may screw up.
