Not only was I exposed to many complex pediatric cases, but more importantly, I gained essential training for acute inpatient and outpatient management. I dealt as well with a wide diversity of children with disability of various etiologies. I have been in direct contact with many physiatrists and physical therapists in our multidisciplinary team who were managing efficiently variable disability cases. I am sure that my previous experience will serve as a major and integral part of my future physiatry training and it will be a solid base for my future interest to pursue a fellowship in pediatric rehabilitation.
In an effort to further advance my career, I moved to the United States, where I’ve had the opportunity to acquire extensive US clinical experience through externships with different physicians in many clinics in Houston, Texas.
Most recently, my immense passion for the ongoing scientific researches inspired me to seize an opportunity to work in the research center at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston.
