Michael Bay was able to pull off a 40-minute battle sequence of such a large scale and magnitude without it becoming confusing or muddled in anyway.
This attack came as a shock to many and is a very reminiscent incident. These events that took place on December 7, 1941, have always and will be a very significant event in American and World history. It shaped the way of the war and left a huge impact on society. Just the name Pearl Harbor brings to mind the infamous day when the United States was forced into World War Two.
I found this movie to be both moving and interesting, it kept me on the edge of my seat. It is amazing to see how movie makers today can put together a replica of events that happened on that dreadful day of infamy. This movie was a graphic enhancement of the attack through the artful technology of computerization.
I personally loved the graphics and image they used during the attack. They were very detailed and well composed. It certainly is a good way to learn about history.
Pearl Harbor was nominated for best score, best song and also received a Golden
Globe Award. The movie is rated pg-13 for sustained intense war
