This is important to notice because more than 1.4 billion people on earth have obesity, and 2.8 million of them die each year as a result (European Association for the Study of Obesity). By playing more sports and going outside more, you can avoid getting obese or stop being obese, which means that there is a lower chance of you getting deadly diseases linked to obesity. Also, a very great YouTube channel named AsapScience, which you can tell by the name teaches people about science, said, “And it's this sunlight that begins an amazing chain reaction, which helps to sustain your life [...] Vitamin D that is. [...] and it ultimately leads to bone growth and strength” (AsapScience). This shows that the UVB rays from the sunlight can convert the cholesterol scattered around in your body into another chemical, and when activated and converted later, turns into Vitamin D. Some people may argue that P.E. classes can be a cause of major injuries. This information is actually true, however, these can all be ultimately prevented by wearing proper gear. Many people don’t wear any formal gear during their sports practice, and they get injured. Most injuries can be prevented by providing and encouraging the students to wear proper gear. Other injuries caused by excessive playing are usually caused by their coach or parents pushing them too hard. This is true, but an excessive use of anything is bad. For example, broccoli contains some very nutritious and delicious stuff, such as vitamins and antioxidants. However, it is also, poisonous, but the doses are usually too small for anyone to experience any discomfort. But excessive consumption of broccoli can cause food intoxication. P.E. is just like that! Excessive training or playing can cause discomfort, but normally people won’t suffer any discomfort. People should see that P.E. classes have various benefits for the students that take them and therefore they shouldn’t be protesting for the teachers to cancel the P.E. classes.
