To test how Paleo my dinner is I went to Wright Food Court and bought a buffalo chicken strip wrap with a side of mashed potatoes. To start, the chicken strips in my wrap were fried, which would not be acceptable for the Paleo diet. Also, the processed cheddar cheese would also not be allowed in the Paleo diet considering almost all of our ancestors were lactose intolerant and cheese contains dairy. The spinach wrap which is actually mostly made out of flour would also be against the Paleo diets strict food limitations. I would not be able to keep anything, besides the water. If I wanted to keep the chicken I wouldn’t be able to fry it or use flour to coat the chicken, and I definitely wouldn’t have been able to use the spinach wrap since it is mostly made of flour. The potatoes are also against the Paleo diet and I would only have been able to eat them if they were sweet potatoes. As for the cheddar cheese, I would not have been able to substitute for anything because all cheeses contain diary. If I wanted to eat a Paleo diet then I would have to get a completely different meal. It is obvious that humans have created many different ways to cook and prepare foods that were not used millions of years ago.
