Throughout my observations and my education of the process of Osmosis, the movement of the solutions moving up from the “mysterious” solution inside the semi permeable membrane which is known as the dialysis bag. Osmosis happens because of the molecules crossing, for more of an understanding according to Anita H, she says “…high water concentration to an area of low water concentration through a partially selectively permeable membrane” (Anita) The molecules cross from less concentrated solution to the higher concentration solutions (The low concentration solution is the distilled water immersing the dialysis bag and the concentration liquid is the fluid inside the bag). Throughout the experiment it is knowledgeable that invertase is the cause for breaking down the sucrose, meaning that without invertase it is unable to cross the semi-permeable membrane. If there is not …show more content…
Through the clean data, there isn’t even a slight comparison with the dictation o the data’s rates. With the red solution, after sixty minutes of observation, the reds data came to the highest of 3 millimeters making it clear that it is indeed water with invertase because it had the slowest climb making it clear that it also had the lowest concentration from the surrounding water The Blues solutions had a very middling rate because although the rate of blue is much higher than reds it is not as high as the rate for green because it was invertase with sucrose because there was a higher concentration due to the sucrose breaking down the glucose and fructose. The highest rate blue got to was 74 millimeters. The green solution however is the fastest rate by far because of its sucrose with water. Not only did the green surpass the blue and the red, it reached to 211.5 millimeters, which is over 100m over the blue and the
