Achieving an associates in mathematics, graduating with a 3.76 gpa from Cuyamaca College and currently on track to a B.S. in Chemical Engineering currently with a 3.0 gpa. I have also just recently been selected by the members of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers to participate in UC San Diego’s inaugural projects group. I have been selected to provide my technical abilities to building a scaled down water purifier that will turn salt water in to drinkable water by use of vapor compression. The research and development will be used to help provide access to drinkable water to drought stricken areas that have limited recourses and funds to develop such systems. This is project is important to me because it can have a global impact that could help mitigate a major issue in our
