Obstacles of an Education How difficult is it to obtain an education? Many would say it is very difficult because of all the hours of studying and going to class, but what if one does not have the ability to gain an education? Millions of people in this world are currently going through that problem. This is a major obstacle for many people. Most people will agree that an education is essential to be successful. Anyone who has read a great deal can imagine the new world that opened” (Malcolm X). Imagine all the work Malcom X went through to become more intelligent. Life often gets in the way when we are trying to accomplish our goals. Those who are looking to further their education need to ask themselves, ‘Am I willing to put this goal in front of everything else in my life?’ This brings up another issue with people trying to continue their education, time. Most people would agree when saying there is not enough time in the day. This is the same for people who do not have enough time to go to school. There could be many reasons as to why this is, having a job or raising a family are two of the biggest reasons people do not have enough time to learn. Being in charge of a family would make it very difficult to put in the necessary time and effort for school work. Also, having a job makes it more difficult to be in school, especially if that individuals is working full time. Every hour working is taking away from time to be studying. On the other hand, everyone knows that the world runs on money. Not too many people are going to leave their job or take less hours
