To integrate situation-specific theories nurses should check assumptions through nature of theory, multiple truths and nursing perspective. Next, nurses should research grand and mid range theories and review multiple sources, literature, and findings pertaining to specific population or situation to develop a framework. Then a situation specific theory is established based on this framework, which is finally reported, shared, and validated to be applied to clinical practice (Im, 2014). This theory would be helpful in developing goals and treatments in assisting and encouraging this group or population of women to increase physical activity in their daily life to promote healthy living. Correspondingly, in the article about the pain experience and management of cancer patients of Asian descendant, Im proposed the theory after using the integrated approach that is after carefully reviewing and researching so the theory can be applied in providing care for this group of patients. The author discovered that the barriers for pain management are due to the patient 's cultural beliefs and values, high pain tolerance, and concerned about addiction. Thus, clinical practice based on this situation specific theory would require first understanding patient 's perception of pain, next educating them about that expression of pain and taking medication is normal, and then to achieve required outcome provide patient centered
