This advertisement is compiled with many athletes that are affiliated with Nike including Rob Gronkowski, Ndamukong Suh, LeSean McCoy, Luke Kuechly, Odell Beckham Jr., Ben Roethlisberger, Paul George, Paula Findlay, Antonio Brown, Marlen Esparza, Eric Weddle, Lauren Fisher, Marcus Mariota, Sydney Leroux, Le’Veon Bell, Draymond Green, Eugenie Bouchard, Steven Stamkos, Elena Delle Donne, A. J. Green, Carli Lloyd. With this monstrosity of a cast, Nike went all in on selling their new winter apparel. The advantages of having a cast like this of many different professions are that everyone that watches this advertisement is most likely appealed to one or more of the cast members. The advertisement starts off with Rob Gronkowski waking up from his bed in the morning to be surprised by the fact that it is snowing very hard. He then gets excited exclaiming that it is a snow day. Gronkowski is then confronted by Ndamukong Suh where he is challenged to put a team together for a football game in the snow. Gronkowski then goes all around the neighborhood compiling a team of well-known athletes until they get enough athletes. As they make their way to the playing field, Gronkowski’s team goes through the winter storm to meet up with Suh’s team. This is why they brought in a large cast of their endorsed athletes from many different sports. With the snow day type of atmosphere that is created in the advertisement, Nike wants people to think about the fun that they would have in the snow whenever they wouldn’t have school because of the extensive amount of snow. Nike’s main point of emphasis was to appeal to the memories of the audience, reminding them of when they would run around town with their friends on a snow day and play all types of games and activities. The big part of the advertisement though is the product at hand. With winter coming up, people are going to need warmer clothing so they can deal with the elements on a daily basis. Nike wants the viewers to know that with their winter apparel, kids could go out and have fun in the snow, with the comfort of being warm and safe in their Nike gear. Also, they want the viewer to know that if their athletes are having fun in their Nike apparel that the viewers could have just as much fun if they have the same apparel. With this holiday season coming up, Nike has done a brilliant job in advertising their new winter gear that emphasizes that one could have fun in the snow while also be safe and warm if they choose
