Many accounts of near death experiences have been made throughout history. This accounts have made many people reevaluate their lives. I have always thought that was a connection between spirituality and near death experiences but do these truly have a connection Many people have converted new found spiritualism after their traumatic event but is there a connection between spirituality of near death experiences. Do these experiences help or hurt people who have? I also question whether or not near death experiences reliable. If near-death experiences are not reliable or factual what creates this phenomenon? This paper talks about the conversion into spirituality after a near death experience. This study had 230 participants who claimed to have had a near death experience. 90% of the participants scored a 7 or higher on the near death experience scale (Greyson Bruce, and Khanna Surbhi, 2014). The participants were then sent a questionnaire that would have them go over many in depth details about their lives before, during and after the near death experience. The questionnaire would measure the participant’s spiritual transformation after the experience and the level of near death experiences. This study was tested against a control group to measure possible spiritual growth. This studies states that spiritual growth was significantly greater for the participants who reported a near death experience than not. Spiritual growth after near death experiences are positively connected to coping meanwhile spiritual decline are connected to depression (Cole et al., 2008; Visser, Garssen,& Vingerhoets, 2010). This study concludes that yes there are connections between spiritual growth and near death experiences and that the spiritual growth helps the participants cope with the traumatic event. In this study participants were to mark on a linker scale a number between one and seven. One being the most pleasurable and seven being the most unpleasant. The participants were asked to talk about their experiences of disclosure to a healthcare professional that were most noteworthy for them for whatever reason. In the questionnaire they were asked if the quality about the quality of their near-death experience disclosure overall. The participants with professional help meaning the medical and mental health had the most negative responses in this experiment . Meanwhile religious and non-professional groups marked their experience with religious and nonprofessional as more positive. The results for the study says that there is a need for near death related information to become an established part of healthcare providers preparatory and and continuing education
