Besides, people that bite their nails are not aware of their actions, they automatic bite them without thinking about it. At times I did not want to quit because I did not see it as an issue, not knowing the danger that comes from putting fingers in the mouth. Nail-biting can cause the risk of developing infections, colds, and damaging the teeth (Gibson, 2016).
