Taking personality assessments can provide a deeper understanding of yourself. Therefore it is important for us to understand how our personalities can affect us as leaders, as well as the people we are trying to lead. Some of the ways we can identify our personalities would be through the Big Five model, Myers-Briggs, Emotional Intelligence and theories of motivation.

In calculating my Emotional Intelligence (EI) score, I determined that I have a high EI which has served me well in my interpersonal relationship both at work and in my personal life.
