Finally in the spring of 2016 all my hard work paid off I passed math 092 and in summer of 2016 I enrolled in math 093. At first I was a little sceptical of taking it being that the class was five weeks, but I was not going to let that stop me. I studied every day, worked twenty plus hours on this class and yes my hard work did pay off. After not giving up and continuing on this journey I came to the realization of my strengths and something I was unfamiliar with which was that no matter how many times I’ve failed at something, I should never get discouraged but continue moving …show more content…
That’s where my self motivation and determination came in at play.
Currently today I fall under the 80 percent of satisfactory academic progress policy. What lead me to the 72-73 percent has been the unknown academic learning disability within the mathematical subject. Being a first generation college student I dont have the funds to afford college on my own. Given the opportunity to reinstate my financial aid for this Fall semester of 2016. I can assure the financial aid department that I will no longer fall under the SAP policy. Given my previous academic standing you can see that my major challenges at CSUN, has been the completion of my mathematical course. Next semester, I will enroll in my major courses which are, Journalism 100, Geology 102, Math 131 and History 270.
Given this opportunity to return back to CSUN will once more allow me the opportunity to continue my dreams of pursuing my public relations degree.
Thank you for taking the time to read my letter. I hope to hear from you
