Math manipulative gets the students closer to the teacher because why learning a math manipulative there also having fun during the process. And get to expire not only the manipulative of snap cubes but also get to explore in any other manipulative. Therefore, manipulative are most common used in math classrooms to encourage them students who are quiet and shy to speak up and help them talk in a group class room participation or math classroom activity. Even to my surprise in my research of Snap cubes and math manipulative even a computer can be a manipulative because it helps the students learn about technology because they’ll be using the computers to work on math homework and get to know about computers as well. But in my research of math manipulative and snap cubes you don’t want to over use the snap cubes because students will attend to get bored and lose interest of them after a while. There are cons of math manipulative because some elementary teachers don’t like the new ways of teaching because there so use of the old ways of teaching they learn about to teach their students because it seems way easier instead of the math manipulative there using today. One disadvantages for elementary teachers is that snap cubes are extremely high price than any other math manipulative in their math classroom since they need a lot of them for their students to use and share with and disadvantages is that students get used to having a math manipulative help them with their math homework all the time.
