Of course, the most important aspect of the story, the cheese. They all live in a maze where the story takes place. It begins with the four characters in search of cheese they employ what they consider their best skills to find this cheese. The mice use their strong sense of smell and quickness while the little people use their “complex minds” to devise a plan to find this cheese. Shortly after the mice finds the cheese and not long after the little people arrive, this part of the maze is called “section c”. The moral of the story was meaningful and the purpose was clearly identified. I admire the authors ability and courage to put forward such a humble but impactful book. The length of the book made it a quick and easy read, he successfully got his points across in a few pages instead of dragging out the story which was appreciated. Throughout the body the main points were illustrated well. The choice of words used were effective as it has an emotional impact on the reader and was extremely simple to read, which can appeal to a wide range of people of all ages. The use of dialogue at the beginning of the story made it more dynamic and added an element of interest from the get go. His most impressive writing skill may be his ability to breathe life into his characters creating a vivid mental image for readers. “Who Moved My Cheese?” is in no doubt applicable to the ups and downs of the business world. Taking risks and seizing opportunities is the only way to become successful.
This story is ultimately one of realising, accepting and adjusting to changes in all aspects of life. The lessons taught in this book are invaluable. The ones that I took away from it was firstly never get to comfortable always strive for better you cannot grow in a comfortable place get out of your comfort zone. Secondly, change is inevitable, is its one of the great experiences in life you can either fight it and be miserable
