My first job ever was in a call center company as customer service representative. I got the position after successfully passing examinations given during a job fair in our school. As a fresh graduate who did not have any job experience before, I was really excited that time. I had been hearing good and bad things about the call center industry before, but since I was really excited to earn, and really eager to evolve as a person by working, the positives overshadowed the negatives. Pay is really good compared to other jobs of degree holders. To be a call center agent, the minimum requirement now for many companies is at least a high school graduate. That is one of the reasons why many are trying their luck to be a part of this industry, despite the stress and other adverse factors that they might face, they are all willing to face those because of the good pay they will be receiving, plus the wide variety of incentives for agents whose performance are really exemplary. There are also numerous times when top agents are sent abroad as part of their incentives and perks of being a top agent.
